Why should I rent and not buy?
We allow you to rent a dress on a weekly basis, however, if you want it for longer that’s no problem at all (providing you let us know!). So if you have a holiday coming up, you’re able to book the dress out for 2 or 3 weeks etc. (providing its available). Please be aware that on the 8th day, you will be charged the same borrowing fee, and on the 15th etc.

As soon as you receive the dress and sign for it (please note that all dresses must be signed for when receiving them) please contact us asap to let us know you will be returning the dress (either by email or phone). We will need to know within two hours of you receiving it. We endeavour to give you as much information about the sizing of dresses as possible, so this doesn’t occur. You are more than welcome to send us your measurements so that we can suggest a size for you in a particular dress. You can return the dress free of charge, but please note that you will still be responsible for paying for the postage. If a dress is unsuitable or doesn't fit, we must be informed ASAP and it must be sent back same or next day to receive a refund.
If a dress is ‘temporarily unavailable’, this means somebody else is borrowing it. Leave your email address if you wish to be notified when the dress is back in stock and we’ll let you know so you don’t miss out again!
When you receive the dress, included in the package will be a detailed instruction of how to return the dress back to us. Just simply use the labels provided and send it back special delivery via your local post office. The insurance will have been taken care of (included in the rental fee). If you have any problems, please contact us.
Browse through our dresses and after finding one you like, click on your correct size and for how many days you would like it for. Then click on the ‘purchase’ button. Send an email to us to let us know when you would like the dress to arrive. The dress will then be delivered to you at the address you provided (please make sure it is correct when purchasing). Simply wear the dress and then return it back to us within the time allocated. You will receive a letter with your garment explaining exactly how to return your dress. Please ensure you do not exceed the time limit so that you do not incur further costs.
There is a set fee for all shipping and handling costs £6.99). This includes insurance and sending the dress out to you. This will be added at the checkout and there is a standard fee for anywhere in the UK. When a dress is delivered to you, please bear in mind it will need to be signed for. Dresses will be sent by courier and you will be responsible for returning them. All dresses MUST be returned on a SPECIAL NEXT DAY DELIVERY SERVICE. If the dress isn’t returned using this service and goes missing in the post, you will be responsible.
Delivery is £6.99. This is a standard service and your dress will arrive on the day you require. You fill in the dates you need the dress for when purchasing it. You are responsible for postage costs when returning the dress back to us.

Yes, here at My Celebrity Dress, we use Sage Pay, which is a secure checkout system. Please be assured that your personal information is always kept private and confidential and we do not share your details with anyone at any time.
Yes, we use special delivery with Royal Mail and can track your item. Please contact us via email<a href= “mailto:laura@mycelebritydress.co.uk”>laura@mycelebritydress.co.uk or phone if you would like to track your garment. We are more than happy to help.
If you borrow a dress and love it so much you cannot live without it, please email us laura@mycelebritydress.co.uk. If the dress is available for purchase we will let you know.
We love to hear from you so if there is a dress you’ve seen recently on your favourite celebrity and we don’t have the dress for hire, do not hesistate to let us know! Email laura@mycelebritydress.co.uk We endevour to do our best to add it to our collection.
Please make sure you give us the correct address. If there is no-one there to sign for it, it will then be taken to your local depot. They will leave a card for you with contact details.
My Celebrity Dress are responsible for all the cleaning involved with the dresses. Please do not attempt to clean the dress yourself. If you stain or damage the dress in any way, do not panic. Just fill the details in on the form we send you with your garment, and we’ll take care of it. Obviously, if a dress is beyond repair, you will be charged for this. Please see out terms and conditions.
(PLEASE NOTE OVER THE BUSY SUMMER PERIOD, TO RESERVE A DRESS WE WILL TAKE FULL PURCHASE PRICE.) Yes. If you would like to reserve a dress please email laura@mycelebritydress.co.uk with the dress name, size and when you would like it. From Monday 29th June 2009 we require a 15% deposit to reserve dresses. Please email first with the dates the dress is required to laura@mycelebritydress.co.uk. Then simply purchase the dress online (only 15% of the price will be charged to your card for your non refundable deposit. We ammend these details before they go through so the full price will not be charged.) If you reserve a dress and then want to send it back to us, you will receive a full refund minus shipping fees and your deposit.
Please note when reserving a dress and cancelling your order you lose 15% when we refund you.
Our dresses are in ‘as new’ condition. We have images of the dress before they are sent, so we know the exact condition they are in. If the dress has any faults etc. this will be listed on the description and then obviously the price will be lowered to ‘borrow’ it. Some dresses may be brand new, arriving to you complete with the tags still attached. Only remove the tags if the dress fits and you will be wearing it. Tags which are removed and then tried to be sent back to us due to incorrect sizing, will not be accepted and the original borrowing fee will be charged.
So long as your dress hasn’t been sent, orders can be cancelled, but please try to do this asap. Please either call (prefered) us or email laura@mycelebritydress.co.uk. If the courier has already left, you will be charged for delivery fees only.
